Call for Artists - Juried Art Show

Arrivals and Departures

A juried show of 2D and 3D works inspired by or interpretations of the theme, Arrivals and Departures. The theme can be interpreted broadly or specifically based on concepts and ideas related to arrivals and/or departures.

Open to all artists 18 years and older residing in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan. $40 jury fee allows up to three entries. Entry deadline is August 5.

Best of Show: $800

1st Place: $500

2nd Place: $300

3rd Place: $150

Plus additional sponsored awards

• Digital entries will be juried by a panel of art professionals.
• All awards based on judging of actual artworks at the Heyde Center for the Arts.
• Show judge is Barry Roal Carlsen.

Dancing in the Street! Outdoor Silent Disco at the Heyde Center

A silent disco is a party event, like a club or rave, where guests listen to music through wireless headphones instead of speakers. Upon arrival, each guest will receive a pair of fully charged party headphones to wear throughout the evening.

Summer Drama Camp

ONLY SPACE FOR ONE MORE STUDENT! Call the office to register 715-726-9000! This year the production will be High School Musical (one act version). This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have never appeared in a performance as well as those who are more familiar with the stage. Students ages 10-17 are welcome!
