​Chill on the Hill

As part of its commitment to involve youth in arts and cultural activities, the CVCA/Heyde Center provides an early introduction of children to the arts and culture through the offering of forty-five minute presentations of various arts and cultural activities at the Heyde Center during the summer. The target age group is 4 - 10 years of age. There is no cost to participate. Reservations not required, but we appreciate notification if bringing a large group.

DATES: July 10 - rug hooking; July 17 - Making Hand Made Paper; July 24 - Chalk Art; July 31 - Suminagashi (Paper Marbling); August 7 - Projects with Watercolor; August 14 - Sports Dance

The Faces of Lake Wisconsin

The Faces of Lake Wisconsin is the new version of an ongoing project by director Valérie Lanciaux - an atypical and poetic documentary that seeks to learn more about southern Wisconsin through the voices and faces of the women who live there. The film brings together 17 women from 18 to 87 years old.

​The Music Man

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

CJ & The Boys

CJ & The Boys is a brass band formed from the Chippewa Falls High School music program’s top musicians who also happen to be best friends and Valedictorians of Chi-Hi’s 2018 graduating class! CJ & The Boys features Alex Mazur (trombone, leader), Luke Mazur (baritone), Isaac Hein (saxophone), Simon Arneberg (trumpet), CJ Rislove (tuba, vocals), and Carter Billen (drums). This is an outdoor concert that will be held by the Heyde Center flag pole.
