Registration for the 54th Annual Spring Art Show

The Chippewa Valley Cultural Association/Heyde Center for the Arts and The Chippewa Herald welcome artists to submit their artwork to the 54th Annual Chippewa Herald Spring Art Show. Registration starts on Thursday, January 25 and closes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9 (no exceptions!). 

The non-juried, community art exhibition includes original paintings, sculptures, photos, stained glass, mosaics, ceramics and other creative art forms from artists in the Chippewa Valley and beyond.  The exhibit will run from Sunday, April 8 to Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 S. High St., Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

Fire and Ice Exhibit

Both Alex Mooney Jones and LeAnn Nelson work with fire to create their works of art - one using fireworks to "paint" large colorful canvases, the other using a kiln to change her clay pottery into stunning and practical objects. On display during the coldest part of the year in Wisconsin, the exhibit Fire and Ice brings together an exciting and interesting mix of abstract and practical.

Now as a highly respected contemporary folk artist, Chapin has established a reputation for insightful, heartfelt song craft and effortlessly charismatic live performances.

Fused Glass Pendant Class (FULL)

Watch how creative you can get using different colors of glass fused together into a unique necklace pendant in this class by Ann Manor. During this two-hour class, you will create your own portable work of art, then come back approximately a week later to pick up your fused creation.
