Joe Newberry and April Verch each grew up immersed in musical traditions that shaped their extraordinary careers. Joe was raised in a family of singers and dancers, learning guitar, banjo, and fiddle tunes from legendary Missouri musicians. April began step dancing at just three years old and picked up the fiddle at six, inspired by the dance halls and country music of Canada's Ottawa Valley. Their performances seamlessly blend American roots music, blues, ballads, Canadian fiddle traditions, and original songs into a show that is equal parts concert and celebration. Their voices soar together in harmony, their musicianship is masterful, and their infectious energy spreads from the stage to every seat in the audience.
