The Chippewa Valley Cultural Association/Heyde Center for the Arts and The Chippewa Herald welcome artists to submit their artwork to the 62nd Annual Chippewa Herald Spring Art Show. The non-juried, community art exhibition includes original paintings, sculptures, photos, stained glass, mosaics, ceramics and other creative art forms from artists in the Chippewa Valley and beyond. The exhibit will run from Sunday, April 12 to Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 S. High St., Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Weekend hours are 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 18 and 19. The exhibit closes at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 1.
The Opening Reception will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026. A Panel Discussion or demonstration will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Show Awards will be given out at 2:30 p.m.
Entry Information
All work must be original in concept and design – no prints. It must be submitted by the artist signing the work. Copies of other artwork, photographs, published images, advertisements or patterns ARE NOT ACCEPTED EVEN WITH permission of the original artist or the original photographer (unless the artist is the photographer). No art “kit” submissions are acceptable. The acceptance and placement of art is at the discretion of the spring art show committee.
