The Heyde Center for the Arts and the Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Department are collaborating to host their first Visual Art Creation Event called “Celebrating Irvine Park through Art” to encourage people to visit Irvine Park and actively capture the wonder and beauty of the Park through an artistic prism. To participate in Celebrating Irvine Park through Art, artists are required to paint, sculpt, or sketch while in the park so that artists can interact, inspire, and share their artistic vision with park visitors. Missing the camaraderie of their fellow artists during the pandemic, the Chippewa Valley Watercolor Artists have created an exhibit with the title "Counting Our Blessings" as they recognize how fortunate it was that they were able to continue to paint and enjoy creativity. Due to the high levels of COVID-19 transmission in Chippewa County and consistent with the recommendations of the CDC, WI Dept of Health Services, and Chippewa County Dept of Public Health, we are currently requiring that everyone over the age of three wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status.
We will continually assess the ever-changing landscape of the pandemic and adjust our health and safety protocols according to the recommendations of health officials.
By purchasing tickets, visiting our art galleries, or registering for classes, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
