The Heyde Center auditorium has been empty for far too long. This summer we are hosting six weeks of mini-concerts by established local performers such as Nick Anderson and the Skinny Lovers and The CollECtive Choir as well as new artists Matt Boelter and Ramblin' Lou Carver. The concerts will be held in the auditorium with the exception of The CollECtive Choir, which will be held outside in the parking lot depending on weather. In addition to the music, we will have a food truck set up in the parking lot. Inside there will be a full bar available.
Three photographers, three vastly different uses of the media, three amazing women.
In “Shoot the Moon” artist Kristi Schumacher uses moon photographs as part of her pencil drawings in interesting and unusual ways. Mary LaVenture uses long exposure digital photography and a variety of light sources and movement to “paint” with her camera to create her “Abstract Narratives.” Eleanor Jones uses her photographs to complement her writing.
Due to a lack of ticket sales during this crazy time of COVID-19, we are rescheduling this event for August of 2021. We regret any inconvenience that this has caused.
