The Long Way Home – Theus Ixion

In Theus’ former life he was a design engineer in the aerospace and medical industries. He could have easily run out the clock in this profession without regrets; however, life has a way of throwing a wrench in the best laid plans. In December 2015, Theus was involved in a near-fatal car accident that left him unable to work even after two years of surgeries, physical therapy, and recovery time. As he struggled to get back to a place of normalcy, he was diagnosed with end-stage liver failure and told he may only have months to live. Instead of giving up, in April 2018 he picked up a paint brush and used art as a way to fight, to heal, to communicate, to live. Come and experience Theus’ first solo art exhibit. No cost for admission to the galleries. Artwork will be available for sale.

Artist Reception Thursday, January 10, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
