Danville (Kathy, Tim and Joe Danielson) returns to the Heyde Center with a playlist that will delight folk music lovers of all ages and walks of life. These timeless folk songs are as relevant today as they were in the 1960s and 70s. The concert will feature music by award-winning songwriters such as: Peter, Paul and Mary; Bob Dylan; Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, as well as more contemporary songs.
They call their style of music “acoustic contemporary folk” and have recorded six CDs: Love Like A River, Age to Age and Heart to Heart, a Christmas album entitled A Danielson Family Christmas, Casey and Joe’s two CDs, Casey and Joe Live and Cornerstones and Commontime, and Tim’s solo album A Place I Know.
Danville has enjoyed playing for audiences, young and old, large and small for over 30 years, and will continue to do so as long as folks continue to listen. Admission: Adults $12, Seniors $11, Youth $6, Family (4) $30
